  1. Introduction
Super Cardboard Box (“Super Cardboard Box,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of families and children who use our products. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our game Truman’s Toybox, our website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). We are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and all other applicable privacy laws. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at info@supercardboardbox.com.
  2. Children’s Privacy and COPPA Compliance
Truman’s Toybox is designed for children ages 3–8. We take extra care to protect their information. We do not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. We do not include in-app advertising, behavioral tracking, or social media links within the game. The game is designed to operate offline and does not require user accounts or sign-ins. Parents can contact us at any time to review, delete, or stop the collection of any information about their child. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will promptly delete it.
  3. Information We Collect
We design our games to collect as little data as possible. The only information we may collect is as follows:
  4. Anonymous Gameplay Information
We may collect limited, non-personal information automatically for the purpose of improving gameplay and stability. This can include app usage data (such as session length or level progress), device type and operating system, and crash reports or error logs (for debugging). This data does not identify your child personally and is used only to maintain and improve the game experience.
  5. Voluntary Parent Contact
If a parent contacts us for support, questions, or feedback, we may collect the parent’s name and email address and the contents of their message. This information is used solely to respond to the inquiry and is deleted once the issue is resolved.
  6. How We Use Information
We use the limited information we collect to maintain and improve gameplay performance, fix bugs and technical issues, respond to parent questions or support requests, and ensure legal compliance and child safety. We do not sell, rent, or share any personal or non-personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
  7. Third-Party Services
At this time, Truman’s Toybox does not integrate with any third-party advertising, social media, or analytics SDKs that collect personal data. If we use third-party tools in the future (for example, Unity Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar services), we will use them only for operational or performance purposes, not advertising. We will ensure they comply with COPPA and app store family policies and will update this Privacy Policy and obtain parental consent if required.
  8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary for its intended purpose. Anonymous gameplay data is stored only in aggregated form. Parent contact information (emails, messages) is deleted once the issue is resolved. We do not maintain any permanent profiles or user accounts for children. Parents may contact us at any time to request deletion of their or their child’s information.
  9. Parental Rights
Under COPPA, parents have the right to review the personal information we may have collected about their child, request deletion of that information, and refuse further collection or use of their child’s information. To exercise these rights, please email info@supercardboardbox.com with your request. We may take reasonable steps to verify that the requester is the child’s parent or guardian.
  10. Data Security
We use appropriate physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect any information we collect. However, no online service is 100% secure. Parents are encouraged to supervise their child’s use of digital devices and online games.
  11. International Use
Our Services are intended for use in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from another region, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
  12. Links to External Sites
Our game and website may contain links intended for parents (for example, to our studio homepage). These links are clearly marked and not accessible from within the children’s gameplay areas. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.
  13. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top and make the revised version available on our website. If the changes involve new data collection from children, we will notify parents and obtain any required consent before implementing them.
